To my mom as it nears Mother's Day: The most wonderful thing you did for me -- I'm sorry to say I really hardly remember it in person, but I have heard so often -- You took us to the library week after week, walking twenty blocks each way (uphill both ways), pulling a wagon full of books - 20 for each of us, 60 in all. You didn't have a driver's license or a diploma, but you knew the importance of reading, and opening up to us the wonderful world around us. Thanks, Mom! I love you! This flower garden is for you.
To Aunt Mamie and Aunt Jo: You both are wonderful "Other Mothers". Thank you for all the love we share with you!
